Join long time SCULPT creator Monica Carroll as she guides new students through the journey of TEACHER in this popular fusion class. SCULPT fuses the fluid moving breath to movement power yoga - vinyasa with a variety of fitness and strength training modalities designed to achieve maximum benefits in the leaste time possible. In this 200 Hour Certification, Students will learn how to sucessfully design and teach a Yoga Sculpt Class. MEET MONICA:

MONICA HAS BEEN TEACHING FITNESS AND NUTRITION FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND YOGA IN ORANGE COUNTY FOR OVER 15 YEARS. SHE IS CERTIFIED IN POWER YOGA, ADVANCED POWER YOGA, HOT YOGA, AYURVEDA, HOLISTIC NUTRITION AND HOLDS PRIOR CERTIFICATIONS IN PERSONAL TRAINING, AEROBICS, SPORTS NUTRITION, AND GROUP FITNESS. HER WORKOUTS ARE DESIGNED TO BE INTERESTING, CHALLENGING, BUT APPROACHABLE. HER STYLE IS LIGHTHEARTED FUN, WITH TOUGH LOVE INFLUENCE AND THE RESULTS ARE ALWAYS THE SAME - OBVIOUS IN STRENGTH - CLARITY IN MIND - ENLIGHTENED. SHE MIXES MANY ANCIENT TECHNIQUES SUCH AS YOGA PHILOSOPHY, CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS AND SOUNDBATH THERAPIES TO T.R.X AND NEWER STRENGTH BASED PHILOSOPHIES THAT ENCOURAGE NATURAL MOVEMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT. Anatomy as it relates to peak muscle groups isolated  (from sun b) 
Breakdown creating multiple sequences 


WEEK 4:

Anatomy
Fitness training
Adjustments - Variations
Cardiovascular training
Fast / slow twitch muscles and isolation techniques
Props / blocks / weights / bands / pilates circle 

WEEK 5:

Design workouts for each peak muscle group
Yoga philosophy
Theming
Music 


WEEK 6:

Breakdown creating cool down sequences
Create cool down sequence for all peak patterns 

 

Final / Test Out / Graduation
